I appreciate she’s truthful instead of saying “I eat whatever I want in moderation!” Which we all know is bull to look like that.
Plenty of 50 year olds can eat whatever they want in moderation and be 5’9” and 137 lbs.
Really? Because I'm 50 and only one person I know 50+ can do this. And, I have a lot of friends. I routinely could eat anything, but as soon as I turned 48 I had to drastically change the diet I'd had for decades. I have no opinion on Heidi Klum or her diet, but I find your assertion is dead wrong.
What part of in moderation don’t you all understand?
The moderation pre-perimenopause and the moderation in perimenopause and beyond don't align.
The quantities might change but the concept of moderation remains the same. When I was 36, I could eat three slices of pizza for dinner. Now, at 46, I’m good with two, or often only one. One problem with spending your teens/20s/30s focusing on absolute amounts and counting calories is that you might never learn to sense that natural moderation point. It shifts as you get older, but if you know what it feels like, you shift with it.
