I DID have success at 42 at Dominion Fertility with Dr. Gordon, but he is no longer there. I am surprised that no one has mentioned looking at them though. For my first child we used an out of town clinic and monitored here. It wasn't awful and we also have fond memories of the forced travel. We just decided nothing was more important and went for it. I would have been ok to adopt number 2 if things didn't work out so we stayed local for that one.

I'm not sure that any of them where experts in endometriosis. I did move from Dr. Abassi to Dr. Sacks and he agreed to move forward with a laparoscopy and the endometriosis was on both ovaries and removed (for a while anyway). On a family members urging we had a consult with Dr. Robin Poe-Zeigler at then New Hope fertility in Va. Beach. Now it's CCRM fertility but Dr. Robin is still there. She told me more about my fertility in 20 minutes than my Columbia Fertility doctors had in 1 & 1/2 years AND she was very encouraging about my chances and explained why. And we needed that badly! (We talked to all of the clinics here and went to Shady Grove briefly.) It was an entirely different world. Punctual, supportive. I could call after hours if needed. For us it was the right spot.[/quote]
