What a load of crap. The punishment for this is inappropriate and unnecessary. Much less taking recess away from a kid that didn't have anything to do with it. The kid gave his mom papers to sign. He did his job.[/quote]

The kid turned in papers that weren't entirely filled out.

Highly inappropriate of this teacher to take recess away for any reason. You know what else the teacher could have done if she wasn't on a power trip. Send the papers back and say "please sign page 8."

Taking recess away is almost never appropriate unless the student is a danger to himself or others. [/quote]
