Students that took a seat at Walls but then decided to attend JR are legit.  They are allowed to change their minds and enrollment.  Nothing nefarious there. [/quote]

It is not "nefarious" but it is a little inconsiderate.  Will be even more so once summer bridge week (June 26-30) has passed because students admitted off the waitlist after that week won't have the opportunity to attend.[/quote]

Do not overthink what they offer in summer bridge.  Many students miss this.  It is not a requirement for enrollment.[/quote]

I view summer bridge as an opportunity for my child to get practice taking the metro to/from school; get acclimated to the new building; take placement tests; learn more about clubs and extracurriculars; meet some new friends/the kids she will be attending school with. Of course none of this is necessary or critical, but I do think it is a good thing/glad my kid will be able to do it. And to PP - my kid apparently did interview okay b/c she got in to Walls. I still think it is inconsiderate to the kids on the waitlist to "enroll" and hold on to a spot you likely do not intend to take b/c you will go to JR or whatever but don't feel like making that decision for realz yet.[/quote]
