Americans used to care about policies, and norms, and agreements. Presidents, Congressional leaders, and many others have showed us that all that matters is what you can get away with.

And I've decided that that will apply to me, too. I don't care what you strangers who are rarely in schools think. My students succeed. I'm in my classroom more than many colleagues are in theirs. [/quote]
