I could read this thread three times over and not see comments that would lead to this conclusion.

It’s clear this conversation is pointless. The last couple comments are nothing but overblown, illogical statements that can’t be backed up with proof.

I wish people with these absurdly negative views of our police would attend the citizen’s academy, or at the very least do a ride along. Then we would be able to get something constructive done once there’s a clearer view of policing and safety in Montgomery County. [/quote]

They didn't fire an officer that called Black people the N-word. That is just one of numerous examples of bad behavior by MCPD officers that is tolerated. You know about these incidents, but you DGAF.[/quote]

I suppose I need to spell this out for you: of course I “GAF.” I don’t, however, see evidence of “numerous examples of bad behavior” and I chose not to paint large groups of people with one brush. With almost two decades living here, I see a very professional and hard-working force that has been demonized by politicians in recent years.

You are welcome, of course, to insult me and the officers if you think that’ll help make things better for Montgomery County.
