When cutting cooked meat, try using a large fork in your left hand to keep the meat from moving on the cutting board. Personally, I only use gloves when chopping spicy peppers. I wear contact lenses and the pepper oils remain on my fingers no matter how much scrubbing I do. Ouch!
This. I lift the meat out of the package with a fork, cut with a fork and knife, lift or scrape into the bowl or pan. It's rarely necessary to use my hand. I make meatballs with my hands, and while I don't wear gloves I could imagine preferring that. One set, only, though.
