[/quote] Yes, the point being if you like a DC summer heat-wise (though less humid) then go to Slovakia/Serbia, if you prefer a New England summer go to Germany/Poland. I dont know when you are going but in August Serbians usually leave Serbia and go to the beach--so Belgrade will not be as crowded. personally if you are interested in Belgrade best time would be to be there for New Years Eve and then stay for Christmas 1/7--the city is really all decked out and alot of fun.
