I rarely do anything alone already. I no predators are opportunists, always looking for someone to victimize. In the case of this young lady, she was armed, in a sense: she is strong, she felt no fear, she fought him and ran off asap. I spend time alone at home and at busy public places. I'd rather remain alive and not get robbed, attacked, raped, etc than be alone on the street, in a room with no exit, on a path, in the woods, etc etc. There is safety in numbers and I employ common sense tactics ahead of the (theoretical) right to move about the world safely and unmolested. Alas, that is not the workd we live in.[/quote]
