I'm loling at all these people complaining about abortion in choosing where to live. How many abortions are you guys scheduled to get?!
It’s. Proxy for a lot of other policies and politics as well.
I don't think this should matter for the OP but I have one kid and I would definitely have this on my mind if we were having to move to another state for work. If we decide to have another child, there are dozens of nightmare scenarios happening to women RIGHT NOW in states with abortion bans. Remember the story about the woman who had to wait for her discharge to turn rancid before she could have a non-viable pregnancy terminated? I also have my own beliefs about DNA screening and I don't want some yahoo in the state legislature involved in that. Sure, I could fly to another state. But there's always a risk that you will accidentally become the poster child of whatever. God forbid I don't screen my OB well enough and they call a whackadoo Sheriff who calls a whackadoo judge and now there's some injunction and my privacy and my family are at risk. So no, I do not have abortions scheduled (haha so cute! you're funny) but it's super relevant.
