The way I read the iPad thing is it was something done by the staff not requested. There is nothing to indicate the OP is a 5% tipper or slightly assholish at all. Luxury hotels and resorts make it their credo to do everything from sourcing and embroidering kids robes and even leaving photos by the bed. We had a hotel in Paris take photos from our instagram of our dog and leave them framed in our room. Those little details set apart the extraordinary from the ordinary and cost so little.[/quote]
