Have you actually read the book? [b] A basic premise of the book is that members of the family and their aides have been unnamed sources for quite a lot of what gets published in the tabloids. Harry’s stance is that he is openly using the book to tell his own story. [/b]
I find this credible, and it suggests that Harry is the one who’s fighting back, while the “sources close to the family” are the ones that I’d regard as being craven.  Not that all readers will agree with this take, but if you haven’t actually read the book — vs excerpts from it in the very press that Harry is criticizing — your perception and conclusions may be inaccurately slanted. Yes, we know. He is saying this in all of his interviews as well as a justification for saying all the things he is saying. My take is that he is paranoid and this paranoia and victim mentality has been exacerbated by his wife. His wife was planting stories from day one, btw.[/quote]
