But imagine if it were a protest of a sexist dress code? Or a racist one? If it were my kid I would be proud of them and encourage them to tell their side of the story. Write about it as their main essay even. The main issue for OP's kid seems to be she regrets whatever he did, or recognizes that it comes across badly.[/quote]
