Kids from cultures where most dishes are spicy are exposed to a lot more spice than the American kids who are eating things like scrambled eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, mashed potatoes, etc., even more often than they’re eating wasabi or jalapeños or hot curries.[/quote]
