There's 182 days planned, which would be 91 per semester if evenly split. But this has 96 days in Sem A and only 87 in Sem B, with Q3 (the one most likely to be hit with snow) the shortest at 43 days. Why not have Monday 1/22 the end of Q2, making both Q2 and Q3 47 days each? Or at least back-up one day from Monday 1/29 to Friday 1/26?

I know they are juggling around multiple options when trying to finalize, but doesn't anyone do a final sanity check on the whole thing.  :roll:

Just guessing, but q2 has the half days for Thanksgiving which don't end up being normal instructional time, and days are lost around Christmas with extra kids out and more "fun" activities, and likely snow days in January. So there's a bit of a built in bumper? [/quote]
