[/quote] I actually have no issues with the honeymoon funds, especially for couples who have all of the household items they need and have no use nor desire for china/silver. What is the difference between giving cash that they can use to buy the experience or buying the experience itself? Registries are not meant for what you want to give someone, its meant for what they want. Just give cash and ignore the registry if you want to. But no one wants another bowl, vase, etc. when they have all of that stuff already. It's nice to have a treat on your honeymoon after the stress of planning a wedding. And BTW, I got married before this was a thing so I'm not defending my own choices.[/quote]
