Teachers are not the ones who came up with the low academic standards like students not having to turn in work and still receiving a 63, ensuring there is no true penalty for not doing anything. Teachers did not create the lax attendance policy. It’s not our fault, but you still don’t think we deserve a contract? The teachers who teach your children don’t deserve a contract? Why do you bother to send them to public school?[/quote]
