Actually the home schools are getting the student funding and don’t provide anything and virtual academy is funded through other resources which is why they are short staffed and not equal to an in person school. “Home school” here = the school you’re zoned for.  Totally different from “homeschooling” (parents teaching their own kids), which MCPS does not fund.  [/quote]
