DP, not the one above -- If you like NZ shows, and like mysteries/police procedurals, try The Brokenwood Mysteries. It's on Acorn but might stream elsewhere. New season coming soon but start from the beginning. You can watch single episodes or come in late, for sure, but you won't know the residents of quirky little Brokenwood as well--many characters recur throughout the series. Vibe is pretty low-key; murders fairly weird; I like the cops a lot. [/quote]
