[/quote] I am one of the Europeans that wrote above. My girls (6 and 8) are topless in Europe and my 3 year old boy is often naked. Unfortunately we can’t do that in DC public pools or we would. When my eldest was 3 we went to one of DC public pool. She was wearing a one piece bathing suit and when she came out of the water, I pulled down the top part so that she wouldn’t be cold in the shade with a wet belly. The life guard scolded me and asked me to pull her bathing suit up. She was 3!!!! I was very upset and left the pool. It’s very very sad.[/quote]
