Like if he were on a business trip the week before her birthday and asked me to arrange to send flowers and a card, I would be happy to do so. But if he was just like hey would you do this for me I'd be like no, dude, I'm just as busy as you are. And I don't buy into the whole "I don't know what to get her"--just ask her, or freaking Google "gift ideas for mom."
