UVA, VA Tech, UMD, University of Delaware, University of Georgia, Clemson.
The SAT is bottom of the SCHEV stats for UVA - she should retake - don’t count on going test optional if not hooked. Your DD’s GPA is at the bottom 25th percentile also for UVA. I hope legacy works for you OP, but I’ve seen so many legacies to UVA turned away … are you and your husband big donors? You undoubtedly know that UVA has some counselors who work with legacy applicants? Make that contact today and work it.
You know the GPA is completely school dependent, right? UVA wants to see a kid at the top of their class with good grades in the most rigorous courses. That various from school to school. Also, the SCHEV stats are senior year GPA - kids taking a ton of AP see their GPAs jump significantly in junior year and again in senior year. Also, anyone touring (virtually or physically) knows the UVA is every, every clear that kids should go test optional. The current SAT scores are inflated for that reason and have been for the last several years.
You can’t spell or write and you are wrongs: OP’s kid doesn’t have a good shot at UVA unless legacy kicks in. That is a fact
