I read today that the soldier was removed from Afghanistan. I am also baffled by the failure to identify him. I'm even more baffled that nobody in the media seems to be curious about that omission. I think it's gone on long enough to get us into conspiracy theory territory. Perhaps he comes from a well-known family or maybe the Internet is filled with his incoherent rantings about his desire to go house to house killing people? Eventually the will have to identify him, won't they? So, what are they waiting for?

I'm the PP. I also find this incomprehensible. It makes us look like callous thugs who are trying to protect someone who has committed a horrific crime and gives the Afghan people an incentive to transfer their legitimate anger onto every American who is left back in Afghanistan.

When those Blackwater employees were killed and mutilated, we laid siege to Fallujah, resulting in thousands of deaths. So far all we're hearing about this is a bunch of infuriating platitudes such as "war is hell", "it's very sad", "really incomprehensible",  "shit happens"...What are they thinking?[/quote]
