This guy disabled her car and then offered her a ride.  She had agency to say yes or no to a ride, certainly.  But do you think she would have made the same decision if she had all the facts?  If she knew he let the air out of her tires would she have seen the offer of a ride home as a kind move from a coworker, or the beginning of a movie about a serial killer?

She was not a kid.  But she was his subordinate at work and his chosen target.  And you deciding that you don't have to address illegal and predatory behavior because one poster used the word kid colloquially instead of clinically is a very obvious PR smokescreen.[/quote]

I choose not to excuse workplace sexual harassment of interns by their superiors simply because the interns have reached the age of majority — and that’s not even taking into account his disabling her car to make her extra vulnerable.
