Because that's exactly what happened ....[/quote] thats arguing the merits on how the name was assigned and if you want to argue that go ahead. that wouldnt stop me from calling it reagan airport. and what monument or building isnt named for political reasons anyway? its not as if naming something after jfk or another president is done for non political reasons. i dont lose sleep over an airport named after a president i didnt really jump for joy over.
