So a + for beast academy/AoPS, but that said, I agree with PP that you don't want to push this unless it's something your kid legit wants/needs. Also, somewhere upthread someone noted that some people knew that a kid was going to be a TJ kid, but they were multiple levels above grade level at an early age. Again, my Ker is doing 2/3rd math, and there's no way I could predict if she'd be TJ material at this age. So much can change, kids can lose interest, kid might be more interested in something else than STEM, or kid might just want to stay at base school for any # of factors. [/quote]
