I didn't know to tip on takeout until after college when one of my coworkers at a low wage nonprofit who was also a server told me people should because packing up takeout takes servers away from table service. Same people, same wage. I tipped 10% until the pandemic, now I dine out much less so I've increased my tips. [/quote]
