He’s going to issue an order that parents can opt out. Miyares will be issuing a legal opinion on SB 1303 “maximum extent practicable” language re CDC regs to not applying to masking - forced masking of little kids for 2+ years when vaccines have widely available for a year now is definitely not practicable.

Chap, Morrissey and Republicans have legislation ready to permanently end all COVID mitigation in schools. Ridiculous this stuff is jammed down parents throats but businesses are free to do what they want.[/quote]

When Mayares does that, he’ll immediately be sued and injunctive relief will be issued by the courts. There will be masks in APS at least through the winter. My guess is that they will start to be lifted starting in the spring, assuming things get under control. By next school year, no masks. Sadly.[/quote]
