My child's grade is doing an inventory of who has internet to prepare for a shift to virtual learning.
What grade?
2nd
What school is this?
This question also may be getting asked in preparation for asynchronous quarantine learning. My 4th grader was told by her teacher today that kids who need to stay home because they are sick or aren't feeling well will be able to receive assignments from the teacher via seesaw. If the school doesn't know who has internet they may be trying to help proactively for learning in quaranting. --Parent at a high poverty school that has done a lot of work making sure families are connected to the internet.
Agree- we were in quarantine for 1 day and our teacher reached out to let us know we would have access to virtual learning after day 3. It was going to be recorded lessons, but that's better than nothing. They would access via Canvas I believe.
