Seriously? Come on now OP you had a baby during a pandemic. What did you expect?
Get over yourself pp. When op conceived the baby (presumably last spring) vaccines had been rolled out, most were optimistic and she probably expected, as most people did and public officials kept touting, that we would be in a very different place right now.
Most weren't stupid though. No one with a brain thought the pandemic would disappear overnight or over the summer I'm guessing was OPs timeline. I knew a FTM pregnant in September 2021 and she insisted that everything would be fine and her newborn was going to be vaccinated when it was born in November 2021 because 'they promised the vaccines were on a timeline!' I told her to check the news in May 2021 about the first rollout for child vaccines and she shut up. Her kid still isn't vaccinated and likely won't be until EOY 2022.
