If you have your age range set appropriately and aren’t creeping on women young enough to be your daughter, congratulations! You’re one of the more normal people on dating apps (minus your “times have changed” comment, that was weird. Men have always put their physical preferences first when choosing women, no reason women can’t do the same). You’ll soon find that 98% of the people on there, male or female, are trash. And you’ll spend more hours than you care to admit wading through the compost to find the jewel. Just to give you an idea, over the years I went through probably thousands of profiles, had hundreds of conversations, went on dozens and dozens of dates, before finding the one guy I could spend my life with.

It’s a numbers game and takes time and energy. If you go into it with the mindset that it’s like a restaurant menu and you’ll be able to pick out a woman and have her delivered, you’re gonna be disappointed.
