WTAF??? we followed the prep instructions to the letter, nothing but broth and juice all day yesterday and oatmeal, steamed veg and potatoes the day before. He does have a history of constipation, but they never even asked.

I am not super jazzed that he has to do this whole thing over again. I did read that there are other types of screenings that are not so invasive/don't require the same level of prep. Anyone have any info on that?[/quote]
I was diagnosed with UC at 17, so I've had a lot of colonoscopies in my life. This happened to me once when I had a new doctor after moving who decided to try the gentler mag citrate prep with me. Obviously, I know how to follow protocol etc, but it still didn't clean me out enough. I was worried when going in, because I didn't feel as "empty" as I typically am. Now I always do Go-Lightly. And, FWIW, I lean toward the opposite of constipation, so this may have nothing to do with diet or overall gut health.
