[/quote] You are the Customer.[/quote] While you’re the customer, you kid is their employee who is not paid anything to make the club revenue and indirectly the coach’s salary. They work for the club to offer a service to you for which you pay for. Kinda warped. Anyhow, yes they have an obligation to develop your kid. That happens mostly in practice, not games. Having said that, you have to be smart and not sign your kid up for a 24 roster team where they are clearly not in the top 16 players. Or, at least if you do, have them dual rostered to the B team where they’ll get playing time. Also, if your kid is not being developed, then move them to a different team/club. [/quote]
