[/quote] This is what “Defund the Police” was all about; not handicapping police departments so they can’t respond to crimes in progress, but using some of the current police funding to fund the appropriate professionals to deal with situations like this, where incarceration does nothing for society, but drug intervention and parenting classes could.[/quote]
