My son is a travel player, and a more serious futsal player than soccer player (he does futsal training during the soccer season). But what is wrong with a rec league with opponents that are equally not as invested? It is a way for kids to get out of the house, off electronics, and get some exercise? My son's best friend is very short and does Alexandria's rec futsal league - he has zero interest in basketball, for obvious reasons[/quote]
