01/10/2012 10:44 Subject: Lockdown at NYC hospital where Beyonce's child was born -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous wrote: http://www.sacbee.com/2012/01/09/4174600/lenox-hill-hospital-clears-the.html Anybody bother to read this link posted by another PP? If it's true that the hospital itself hasn't gotten any complaints from parents about not being able to see their babies in the NICU, it sounds like the parents in the NYT article are just looking for their 15 minutes of fame by talking to reporters instead.
Yes, I bothered to read this link. It is not a news story, doesn't even masquerade as one: it is simply the text of the hospital's press release. A hospital that is now receiving negative press and inquiries from the Board of Health. So that is hardly a credible account of what happened. To the PP who keeps posting in defense of "the couple" - you are either a psycho fan or you are a very inept low-level hack for "the couple"s PR firm. Either way, no actual parents are buying what you're selling.
Sorry, your juvenile insults don't bother me one bit. Though a fan, I don't care enough about celebrities to become psycho over them. This world is just going to hell. You have folks who elevate celebrities so damn high, creating this foaming at the mouth need to get a picture, any picture, of anything as long as it's sensational. The paparazzi and folks looking for a picture pay day are out of control and have created this monster. Instead of blaming the hospital, you blame the patient. Why...because the clients are celebrities. Doesn't make any sense at all. If I'm a parent at a hospital were I'm barred access to my NICU infant I'm not going to be pissed at another patient. I'm going to be pissed at the hospital for allowing it to go on.
