Hello Hello Baby Blue!
We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven.
She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.
We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.
- Beyoncé & JAY Z
Of course her birth was peaceful - she didn't let any other mothers, fathers or anyone in or out of the maternity ward - mine would've been peaceful too

I have never had a child in the NICU, but I know that I would have been terribly upset if someone would have prevented me to see my baby for reasons that do not make sense at all (a celebrity's privacy etc.). I think Beyonce is taltented (don't know anything about Jay'Z), but this does not excuse selfish behavior on their part if that is what truly happened here. It wouldn't surprise me though if it were indeed true. Celebrities just live on a different planet than the rest of us. I think, the issue should be thoroughly investigated and the responsible parties should be held accountable and issue a heartfelt apology to the affected parents.
Now on a different topic, why do ALL celebrity moms have c-sections???? I have never heard of ONE celebrity mom who had a vaginal birth. I find this very strange.

Yes to even slightly say that it is ok to keep anyone from seeing their child fbc of Beyonce and Jay Z makes you a nut job. End of story.
Yes, well I indicated that is was NOT ok. Didn't I? Exactly. So, perhaps you're the nutjob who's incapable of comprehension before you go on the attack.
I was referring to 9:28 you idiot. Why dont you learn to read. I called out TWO posters in my above post about the one supportive fan and the other poster talkingabout how it was not a big deal to make parents wait so if you could learn to read and then respond appropropriately it would benfit you.

Anybody bother to read this link posted by another PP? If it's true that the hospital itself hasn't gotten any complaints from parents about not being able to see their babies in the NICU, it sounds like the parents in the NYT article are just looking for their 15 minutes of fame by talking to reporters instead.
Yes, I bothered to read this link. It is not a news story, doesn't even masquerade as one: it is simply the text of the hospital's press release. A hospital that is now receiving negative press and inquiries from the Board of Health. So that is hardly a credible account of what happened. To the PP who keeps posting in defense of "the couple" - you are either a psycho fan or you are a very inept low-level hack for "the couple"s PR firm. Either way, no actual parents are buying what you're selling.
