I would say I’m definitely an above-average driver in terms of driving ability. Certainly far better than most people, at least. But I can’t back up very well. It’s always a slow agonizing process because the car doesn’t steer the same direction in backing up as it does going forward, so it’s very confusing. If I have trouble with it I’d have to assume that most other people do too, so backing into a space is stupid. [/quote]

I’m definitely a much better driver than most people. I haven’t gotten a speeding ticket in over a year and I haven’t had a crash since 2015, so I think my record speaks for itself. And if someone like me has trouble backing up, I’d think most other people do as well. [/quote]

:roll: No. I would hope most good drivers do not have this problem. I also think the average good driver hasn’t had a speeding ticket in about 3 to 5 years or more.  I’m a very good driver and I can back into a space in two quick motions even if someone is behind me, [/quote]

Yep, 100% this.  The people I see backing are a bunch of tiny women driving giant SUV's that are obviously terrified of backing out and hitting someone/something.  There's nothing wrong with backing into a space but if you do it on a ramp inside a parking garage, you're an A-hole.[/quote]
