Bible says be submissive, doesn't say never disagree. Bible also says men are supposed to work for the home. But I'm working, so, I get more say in this roost.
Bible says men should love their wive as Christ loved the Church (the Body of believers). Men like to forget this part of the verse. If a man loves his wife like the way Christ loves the Body, he would do lay down his life for her, and provide whatever she needed. All of his decisions and actions would be about the good of the family. Demanding sex from your wife isn't for the good of the family, unless you think you being happy is for the good of the family. I think this is how a lot of men see it, but that's not how Christ sees it (I mean.. he was physically miserable for a lot of the three years he was preaching). But to answer OP's question: as others have stated, that's not what the Bible teaches. I think you are an anti-Christian pot stirer. -lifelong Christian, and wife.
+1. I'm Catholic, so the wrong kind of Christian for this post, but my understanding is that saying the man is the had of the household can be interpreted in a lot of different ways, and people in dysfunctional relationships are dysfunctional first, and provide the reasoning for it second. People say that they are in co-dependent relationships for all kinds or reasons: religion, children, family pressure, finances, fear, etc. But it's usually because they grew up in a dysfunctional family and are continuing the pattern. It's not like Christians have a monopoly on alcoholism or marital rape.
