Before getting it I drove a Toyota Echo for 13 years. I loved my Echo, I only upgraded because I needed more room for kids/child seats. It was a great car and I never had any issues with it other than routine maintenance, I was sad to let go of it. I don't GAF what anyone thinks about what car I have. When I buy a car I drive them into the ground before I get a new one. Even if I was rich I think I would still do the same. I would rather use my $ for other things like retirement, college savings for my kids, etc. I know people who get new cars every year or two, and I just can't relate.
