I'm never in favor of censoring or deciding for others what they should read or what is "trash" or what is "unacceptable." You don't want to have those books as assigned reading? That's fair. But to say the kids shouldn't be getting them from the library to read? No, sorry. That's going too far. Those decisions should be made by the kids and their family. These folks were way to holier than thou. It oozed a Gilead-esque view that I am not comfortable with on any level.[/quote]
