That's true.  We didn't even bother bringing our kid to the MLSnxt tryouts because they do not even allow lower team players to practice with the top team.  And things like Futsal, etc. are pre-selected even when some kids are really great futsal players.  There is a whole lot of kiss *ss shenanigans as well with a lot of fraternizing of the Coaches.  IF that's not your seen and your kid has outgrown their team, your choice is generally to have to switch Clubs rather than have to stomach that situation.  We have seen kids come in for Mlsnxt that were on lower teams than my current kid and so-so get invited back so it tells me they value the novelty of it too.[/quote]
