I used to know a woman (coworker, this person is not my friend) who would make comments like this all the time about people's baby's names. Just super rude and judgmental, but also tossed off like it was no big deal. I kept telling her she needed to stop and that it's a tender subject for many people, but that it's especially rude to someone who is pregnant or just had a baby because that's such a difficult time. She'd just laugh about it and say "I know! I should stop. I just can't!" She even did it to her own sister, and made so much fun of her niece's name and just openly told her sister that she didn't like the name.

Some people just love the sound of their own voices and think everyone needs to hear their dumb opinions on everything. Ignore. Ignore. Ignore. Sara Grace is a lovely name. I can tell you really love your DD and I bet you are wonderful parents.[/quote]
