It's sad that you don't understand that private school tuition isn't an investment at all. It's a luxury good, and one that I can never liquidate. Which is fine, I can afford it for my kids and they're having a good experience, but let's do try to be clear-eyed about it. [/quote]

Why? They’re enjoying the luxury experience and I sure appreciate being treated like a client and not like someone in line at the DMV—especially in the pandemic. But it’s very obviously not an “investment.” [/quote]
