[/quote] It's sad that you don't understand that private school tuition isn't an investment at all. It's a luxury good, and one that I can never liquidate. Which is fine, I can afford it for my kids and they're having a good experience, but let's do try to be clear-eyed about it. [/quote] I agree with this. Private school is a luxury and often times not an investment at all particularly when it comes to some trust fund kids who don’t care to study and get good grades and go to good schools. There are also plenty of great schools around here where you don’t have to pay a dime. My husband went to Blair and went onto Cornell and then Penn. He is in banking making very good money. Private school can help but it’s not a guarantee. [/quote]
