We ( I am OP) no longer think those values are there for the taking with McLean. We have been complicit in supporting the club even when we were wary of what was going on, but this is the breaking point.
In our estimation,  organizations which take money from parents for their children need to be transparent and honest. The favoritism we saw before (our child was a not losing playing time  but it was obvious what was going on) was a concern, but this broke the camel's back. 
You don't make a sweepin announcement like this in the middle of a season and have people worrying about having their child displaced,  their coach displaced etc. It is a bad organization.
Again  this is just our perspective  and yes there were sour grapes, but we will just try something else. Best of luck to those who stay. My older kids had a good experience e with McLean, but that was then, this is now
