[/quote] I agree, though I see how for brevity's sake especially on traffic radio calling the two directions inner loop and outer loop makes sense. Rochester actually had an Inner Loop. It was one of the things that destroyed its downtown. They're spending tens of millions to get rid of it. [/quote]
