Why?

It's a no win situation. Teachers with small kids at home catch shit from parents. Putting your kid in childcare means you catch shit from parents. A daycare for two year olds can have much smaller ratios and more stringent covid protocols than a public school ever will. [/quote]

The protocols in Ca schools are exceedingly safe, far safer than in a preschool. Beyond THAT, I find it immoral that this jerk is impeding the education of an entire city of school children while allowing his own child to have care outside of the home plus whatever social and intellectual stimulation comes with it. It’s repugnant. I’m sure there are many more like him. It’s truly hypocritical. I’m a progressive Democrat, and sick of idiots like him making crappy demands that are harming our kids.[/quote]
