The result of this is a shockingly low supply of truly good male partners for women. Meanwhile, society continues to tell women that their main goal in life should be to get married and have kids. Yeah yeah, go ahead and get an education and travel and find yourself if that makes you feel better, but all of that is in pursuit of finding Mr. Right.

So we have on one side, a pool of underwhelming men, and on the other side, a pool of women who have to choose between being alone indefinitely or settling for what's available. But yes, it's the women's fault for picking men who treat them poorly. [/quote]
