The only reason I continued was because the family was so nice and they did take her to the doctor. The though elimination the doctor concluded that it was a milk allergy and the mom had to stop eating any dairy (baby was breast fed) and it was night and day difference. She had reflux and so that helped too. I agree that gas is not likely the cause of so much crying. It’s also possible that all of the family ask the doctor about it they didn’t emphasize the gravity of the situation.[/quote] This happened with my poor nephew. Took my SIL ages to figure out he had a milk allergy, and doctors wouldn't help her until they noticed he wasn't gaining weight. The only thing you can do is switch child.care arrangements or the nanny can drop that family until they find a better doctor and figure out what is wrong with their baby.[/quote]
